What is Truetimber Academy? Well, we like to think Truetimber Academy is to the aspiring Arborists what MCV is to aspiring medical doctors. Its a place to grow a career in an important field, partly by hitting the books, but mostly by real world application of the skills needed for the career.
Climbing, pruning, and caring for trees is a mentally and physically demanding job, and Truetimber’s “Ascendo Major” and “Terra Major” are the equivalent of bachelor’s degrees in practical Arboriculture. Every employee at Truetimber is also a student of one of our programs, and by way of respect for the difficulty of Ascendo Major and Terra Major, only graduates of these challenging work/study programs are allowed to step on the seal leading into our training building.
